Telescope expert to speak on God, the heavens

As day deepens into night, thousands of astronomers throughout the world view the heavens through telescopes made by Jim Burr of Denver, Colo.
Interested people can hear him in Wadena as he presents an astronomy space show from a biblical perspective.
Jim Burr, founder of JMI Telescopes, will present a Power Point presentation including the latest pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope.
Burr has designed telescopes for amateur astronomers as well as for NASA. He travels all over the nation and in Russia lecturing in addition to doing TV and satellite shows
Burr will be at Wadena Seventh Day Adventist Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18. The church is one mile east on U.S. Highway 10 and 1/2 mile north on 125th Street.
